Status Bar Integration

The status bar item provides a quick, "at-a-glance" view of your schedule directly in the Obsidian footer. It ensures you never miss a transition between tasks without needing to keep the calendar tab open.

Features

  • Active Event Tracking: Displays the title and remaining time for the currently active event (e.g., Event: Deep Work (ends in 45m)).
  • Upcoming Visibility: If no event is active, it shows the countdown to the next scheduled event (e.g., Next: Team Sync (starts in 1h 15m)).
  • Quick Navigation: Clicking the status bar item opens a context menu with shortcuts to:
    • Open the note for the current event.
    • See the next 5 upcoming events with their start times.
    • Directly jump to any upcoming event's note.

Configuration

You can toggle this feature in Settings → Display and Behavior:

  • Show Event in Status Bar: Enables or disables the footer item.
  • Title Truncation: To keep the status bar tidy, event titles are automatically truncated if they exceed 25 characters.
